Half-day boat trip around the bay of Izola

We leave from the Izola harbour in a small wooden boat that Marko inherited from his father.

We follow the coast towards Strunjan and stop in a bay with no jetties and no sun loungers, staying long enough that you can swim without rushing. On the way back there's a glass of Malvazija and some local snacks.

The group is small — six people maximum — because this is a fishing boat, not a catamaran.

Practical information

Park in the Lonka garage (5 min walk, first two hours free) — the harbourside parking fills up in summer. Bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat; there is limited shade on deck. If the bora wind picks up we reschedule and let you know in the morning.
